Vegetarian Duck Recipe

Ingredients
3 pieces round bean curd sheet
1 oz straw mushrooms
1/2 carrot, peel and shred
1/4 can bamboo shoot, wash and shred
1 tbsp vegetable oil

Seasoning:
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 1/2 tbsp light soy sauce
1/2 tbsp raw sugar
1/4 tsp table salt
1 tsp sesame oil
1 cup water

Method of preparation
Wipe bean curd sheet with a damp cloth, trim off edges and set aside.

Wash and soak straw mushrooms, set aside water for further use.
Stir fry straw mushrooms with oil for a while, add seasoning, bring to boil.
Put in carrot, bamboo shoot and trimmings from bean curd sheet.
Dish up when boils, pour sauce into a bowl.

Spread out bean curd sheet, brush surface with sauce.
Place some filling at the center, wrap up into 2" wide roll and secure with toothpicks.
Steam for 2 minutes then quick fry in hot oil.
Dish up and cut into serving pieces.

Method of serving
Served warm with cooked rice or noodles.
