Ingredients
1 1/2 cups boneless chicken thigh or breast meat, cleaned and cut into
bite-size pieces
1 cup button mushrooms, sliced into 1/4-inch pieces
2 Chinese sausages, washed and sliced
1 tbsp shredded ginger
1 tbsp scallions, thinly sliced (optional)
1 tbsp fresh cilantro leaves, shredded
Marinade A:
1 tsp ginger juice
1 tsp rice wine
1 tbsp stock or water
Method of preparation Mix Marinade A ingredients, stir in chicken pieces and leave
for 2 minutes.
Stir in Marinade B ingredients and marinate for another 20 minutes.
Arrange marinated chicken, mushrooms and sausages in a keep-sided,
heatproof dish.
Set water to boil in a wok and steam chicken dish over medium heat for
10 minutes until chicken is cooked and sausage slices softened.
Remove and sprinkle shredded ginger, scallion and cilantro on top.
Method of serving
Served warm with cooked rice or noodles.
