Shrimps and Egg Patties Recipe
 

Introduction
Wholesome and tasty Chinese dish of shrimps and egg patties to satisfy your Asian dining sensation.

Serving size: 4
Preparation time: 45 minutes

Ingredients
1 lb fresh shrimps, peeled and deveined
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp chopped cilantro leaves
1 scallion, thinly sliced
5 eggs
2 tbsp oil
1 sprig fresh cilantro leaves, to garnish

Seasoning:
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 pepper
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp sesame oil

Method of preparation
Rub salt and cornstarch into shrimps to clean, rinse under running tap until water runs clear.
Pat dry, cut into small pieces.

Mix seasoning ingredients, add half to shrimp in a bowl.
Stir together with chopped cilantro leaves and scallions.

Break eggs into a mixing bowl, whisk in remaining seasoning ingredients.
Add shrimps and stir until evenly mixed.

Heat a wok, add oil and shallow fry tablespoons of omelet mixture until both sides are golden brown.
Remove patties, keep warm.
Garnish with extra cilantro leaves.

Method of serving
Served warm with cooked rice or noodles.
